Nicola helped us remodel the downstairs of our Edwardian home  including the kitchen, utility room, living room, and cloakroom.

Her role involved reworking the layout, including relocating the cloakroom under the stairs, alongside rethinking the colour palette, finishes, and furnishings throughout.

 

Taking on everything at once, with a tight timescale, felt like a daunting prospect.

Nicola made the process enjoyable by breaking it down into manageable steps,

 including accompanying us on showroom visits, and introducing us to suppliers we could trust.

 

She also suggested unique design touches like an internal window between the kitchen and living room, which added to the period character we were keen to preserve.

 

Almost a year on, we fully appreciate how much difference a well thought out layout makes, especially in the kitchen, which was previously awkward and short on storage.
